Reading, Writing and Arithmetic
While developing the whole child socially, mentally and physically, KidsFirst emphasizes the “basics" -- Reading, Writing and Arithmetic -- to provide children solid preparation for kindergarten. We believe all classes should be guided by a definite, planned curriculum, with daily lesson plans according to weekly themes.
Hands-on learning: We teach “learning by doing;" and learning as "fun." Each classroom has separate, defined areas where teachers conduct specific instruction and where children may explore during free play times. These zones are:

What Parents Say. . .
"The teachers are awesome with the kids. They interact and if the kids need one on one, they are there to help. My daughter loves the teachers - when I come to pick her up, she doesn't want to leave! The teachers are very in-tune with the kids. I would recommend KidsFirst to anybody!"
"I was very impressed with the director and teachers. I originally searched around Strongsville for any daycares that were in the area. I did a bunch of price comparisons and came in to see KidsFirst. The price of the service is not on the lower end but you get your money's worth. I came in for a half day with my son and got to learn about the teachers and what they do with the kids. My son has really opened up since coming to KidsFirst! He runs out of the car every morning to come to school and be with his friends. "
"The teachers still ask about my oldest who already graduated. I came to KidsFirst about 6 years ago when my son was 3 1/2 years old. I was really happy with KidsFirst because of the educational platform they have that gets them ready for regular school. My oldest son has moved on to regular school but my 15 month old started to coming to KidsFirst. He is learning far ahead of the learning far ahead of his age group and it makes me very proud!"
"My 4 year old surprised me by counting up to 20 in Spanish I have two little girls at KidsFirst. I looked at a few other day cares before KidsFirst but I like that KidsFirst is so convenient. The teachers made my daughters' transition into school very easy. I think it's really cool that they are also learning Spanish in addition to everything else that is taught!"
