Choosing a childcare center is one of the most important family decisions you will make for your child. That is why we provide you with every opportunity to get to know more about us as we learn more about your child and his or her needs. KidsFirst carefully evaluates every child’s unique needs, skills and potential. That is why we spend a lot of time with parents and children as they enroll and start in classrooms. We place children in educational settings where they are challenged, but not frustrated. We then constantly assess each child’s progress and inform parents as needed to make sure the child is thriving in his or her new learning setting.
What to look for in a Day Care or Pre-School facility:
Is the school clean, bright, organized and child-ready?
Is it safe and secure with indoor and outdoor playgrounds?
Do you see happy children, stimulated and involved in their activities?
Does the school welcome parent’s visits at any time during the day?
Do teachers have in-service training and experience in early childhood education?
Does the school offer child-directed learning in Art, Music, Language, Math and Computers?
Does the school have a strong, proven record in preparing children for Kindergarten?
Are classrooms organized around a daily schedule attuned to your child’s pace, with a weekly thematic curriculum and fun learning programs?
Will my child be promoted according to his or her individual ability and not age or size?
